There was no surprise in Praha where 9th rankedCz.Academy (4-7) was crushed by second ranked Decin (9-3) 92-71 on Friday. Decin dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Cz.Academy 's 32. They outrebounded Cz.Academy 51-36 including a 41-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Josef Gabriel who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Marek Houska who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Decin players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Frantisek Suchanek with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Patrik Wanke scored 17 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Decin have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Pardubice. Loser Cz.Academy dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost.
